各位高手,谁能告诉我以下生胶的性能
TSP Spectol
563,799
Butterfly Rein
Tibhar SpeedySoft D.Tecs
Thanks!!!!!
i play with short pips, so i answer =)
TSP Spectol: the most "standard" kind of short pips. Has a medium sponge, slightly harder than TSP Spinpips. if you just hit the ball, the balls that go back are all rather flat and have not much spin on them, but it normally doesn't give you a "strange" or "knuckle" ball effect. it can be used for looping, and actually both slow loops and fast loops work quite well, but the loops are mainly used for transition from backspin to topspin, not as a main attack weapon. Representative Player: Wang Tao
Friendship 563: i feel that the pips of 563 are slightly taller and they give a more unusual effect when the ball is hit. what you get out of this rubber is actually very dependent on what kind of sponge you put underneath it. if you put very thin sponge then yes, it gives some very strange effects and a lot of knuckle balls show up. but if you put very thick sponge, then it hits pretty much like a normal short pips rubber. however, when compared to japanese or european short pips rubber, it has less power, and (even with thick sponge) has more knuckle ball effect.
Friendship 799: this is not really short pips, but medium pips out. this does have very strange effects sometimes (as compared to other short pips) but is definitely not as strange as something like 837. if thin sponge is used, sometimes it does give rise to "reverse spin" effects when chopping, although not really frequently. when blocking, it slows down the ball significantly. the knuckle ball effect is definitely one fo the strongest with this rubber. however this rubber can be very hard to control if you don't practice frequently with it, and you can start making all kinds of mistakes which you never imagined. Representative player: Ding Song
Butterfly Rein: never played before, don't know
Tibhar Speedy Soft D.TecS: this is also very strange. the maximum thickness that it has is 2.0mm and yet that looks really thin (it looks like 1.7mm to me). it performs pretty well when hitting and chopping, but especially when chopping it does things that i don't even understand. sometimes i try to chop hard to spin it, the ball goes across really fast, but it has NO spin. someitmes i just try to do a fake (no spin chop) but the ball does have spin. it's very effective when used for defense, but in terms of attack, it is rather difficult to loop the ball (even as a transition), and although the smashes are rather consistent, they lack the crisp "snap" that i like from short pips. this is a very unusual short pips indeed, perhaps you can experiment with it and tell us what you think? =)
If you do have the $$$ to spend, play with Joola Staccato or TSP Tyranno. they are what i'm currently playing with and IMHO they are the best among all i've tried. Joola staccato is the most similar to inverted rubber and does not have a strange ball effect, and when smashing, the balls are fast and powerful, but they are not "heavy" like other short pips. Tyranno is very similar to Joola Staccato, but the smashes are actually "heavy" and can cause all kinds of problems if the opponent is not used to it.
Do you have experience with:
TSP Spectol 21?
Tibhar Speedy Soft? (NOT D tecs)
I enjoy your variable report on this.
